I also recommend NetLogo for agent based modelling. It’s relatively easy to learn compared to Swarm and can do most of the same models.

There’s CrimeStat for network and spatial analysis. It’s a limited version of the software that police departments and intelligence agencies use.

There’s a lot more for epidemiology, social networks, differential equations and dynamic dimulations, you name it.
